Savory brisé biscuits

Savory biscuits ideal for aperitifs or as a snack. To be enjoyed with cheese or cold cuts.

Biscotti brisé salati
Ingredients:
  • 150g soft butter (room temperature)
  • 150g soft cheese (Philadelphia)
  • 300g superfine flour
  • 1 egg
  • pinch of salt
  • coarse salt
Preparation

Pour all ingredients into a cold bowl and mix until smooth.
Let the dough rest for about 1 hour.


Fill the Biscuits machine with a piece of dough and choose one of the 20 shapes available.
Choose the biscuit size you want by turning the adjustment knob under the lever.
Lower the lever a few times until the dough comes out evenly from the holes of the extruder.
Rest Biscuits directly on the clean baking tray, without adding butter or parchment paper.
Push the lever down and lift Biscuits from the tray. The biscuit will be attached to the surface.

Preheat the oven to about 200°C (= 350°F). Insert the tray with the biscuits for about 15 minutes.
When the biscuits are baked, remove them from the baking tray and decorate them as you wish.

Serve with cream cheese or ham mousse.
