Refund policy

INFORMATION ON THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

 

You have the right to withdraw from the contract, without stating any reasons, within 14 days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you acquires physical possession of the goods.

In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase order by a declaration to be sent within the aforementioned deadline by a specific form or registered letter with return receipt to the following address:

For this purpose, you may use the enclosed withdrawal form or any other type of explicit written declaration of your intention to withdraw from the order, provided that it is sent to the above-mentioned address in the form and by the deadline stated above.

 

The right of withdrawal is excluded in the following cases:

- for the order of sealed products that are not suitable for return for hygienic or health protection reasons or that have been opened after delivery.

With reference to the cases of exclusion of withdrawal listed above, you are informed and accept that products that 'are not suitable for return for hygienic or health protection reasons' include Marcato products.

Therefore, for reasons of hygiene and Customer protection, the right of withdrawal only applies to products purchased on the Site that can be returned to Marcato and put back on the market without endangering the health of consumers (i.e. products correctly kept unopened and sealed after delivery).

In cases where the right of withdrawal is excluded, Marcato shall return the purchased Products to the Customer and charge them for the shipping costs.

 

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract (except in the cases listed above where withdrawal is excluded) you will be refunded all payments you have made to us, with the exception of any return costs.

Refunds shall be made without delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from the purchase order, without prejudice to our right to suspend the refund until receipt of the goods.

Refunds will be made exclusively in your favour and using the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction.

You must wait to be contacted by Marcato following your notice of withdrawal in order to agree on returning the products to the courier indicated by us and you must return the products in the same box that they were received in, affixing the label that will be given to you. You are only liable for any depreciation in the value of the goods resulting from any handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
